1. Where is SSIFS located?

Our Institute is located at the SSRVM Educational Campus, Near the Art of Living International Center, Kanakapura Road, Udayapura, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

2. What are the programs offered by SSIFS?

The courses offered by SSIFS are as follows:

Fashion Design: An undergraduate program that aims to produce well-rounded graduates with essential knowledge and technical skills, focusing on current industry trends and emerging areas.
Fashion Communication: An undergraduate program designed to prepare you with the necessary skills, knowledge, experiences, and an understanding of the role of media, marketing, and branding in the fashion industry.
Fashion Management: An intensive post-graduation course that allows students to delve deep into principles of fashion management, merchandising, fashion retailing, online marketing strategies, and more.

3. Who can apply to SSIFS?

Candidates who aspire to build a career in fashion and have completed class 12 in any stream can apply for Fashion Design and Fashion Communication Courses at SSIFS and candidates who have completed graduation or undergraduate degree in any discipline can apply for the Fashion Management Course at SSIFS.

4. What is the age limit for Undergraduate course?

For Undergraduate Programs, the applicant should be below 24 years as of 1st August of the year of admission.

5. What is the Admission Schedule?

The admissions schedule for the year 2024 is available on the SSIFS website (www.ssifs.org/admissions/)

6. Is the application fee refundable in case I do not appear for the interview?

The application fees once paid cannot be refunded in any circumstances.

7. How will the result be communicated?

Results will be available on the SSIFS website under the Admissions Tab, and will also be mailed to the student’s registered Email ID.

8. What are the selection criteria?

Selection is based on personal interviews; you can however come with sketches if you want.

9. Is sketching required for the Fashion course?

Fashion Design and Fashion Communication courses require sketching, it is the language of a designer. However, sketching may not be required for the Fashion Management course.

10. Can I apply manually?

Candidates can only apply online by filling out the admission form available on the SSIFS Website (www.ssifs.org/admissions/)

Any candidate who has completed graduation or undergraduate degree in any discipline from any institution in India or abroad that is recognized by law in that country.

12. How can I get the prospectus?

The prospectus is available on the SSIFS website under the Admissions Tab (www.ssifs.org/admissions/)

13. How do I pay the application fees?

Application fees can only be paid online through a payment gateway. The payment link is provided on the admission portal.
